What I do

ServicesEight of them.

Search visibility, paid acquisition, conversation automation, social, content production, websites, measurement and strategy. Agencies sell these as separate line items. They only work when they feed each other, so they are built as one system.

You almost certainly do not need all eight.

How to read this page

You almost certainly do not need all eight

Nobody starts with everything. The first conversation identifies where your biggest loss is, we start there, and services get added only when the previous one is working and measured. Because it is one system rather than eight products, adding a discipline later builds on work already done instead of starting again.

01 Search visibility SEO · AEO · GEO

Found by search engines, and by AI

Search has split in two. People still type queries into Google, and increasingly they ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI answers for a recommendation instead. Both routes reward the same underlying work: a site that can be crawled, content that answers real questions, and structured data that tells machines exactly what you are and what you do. The difference is that AI answers cite a handful of sources rather than showing ten blue links, so being merely present is no longer enough.

Best for: Businesses that depend on being found by people who do not already know their name.

What is included
  • Technical audits: crawling, indexing, site architecture
  • Keyword and question research mapped to buying intent
  • On-page optimisation: titles, headings, internal linking
  • Schema markup and entity signals for AI citation
  • Core Web Vitals and page speed remediation
  • Local SEO: Google Business Profile, citations, NAP consistency
  • Content gap analysis against your actual competitors
  • Monthly visibility reporting across search and AI answers

02 Paid acquisition Google Ads · Paid social

Traffic you can switch on, priced per lead

Paid search is the fastest way to find out whether your offer converts. It is also the fastest way to waste money, and the difference between the two is almost entirely in the setup: conversion tracking configured before launch, negative keyword lists that stop you paying for irrelevant clicks, and landing pages built for the specific search rather than dumping everyone on the homepage. I run campaigns to a cost-per-lead target you agree in advance, and if the numbers do not work I will tell you rather than quietly spending the budget.

Best for: Businesses that need enquiries now, or want to test demand before committing to a longer search strategy.

What is included
  • Account structure and campaign build from scratch
  • Conversion tracking configured before any spend
  • Search, Performance Max, display and remarketing
  • Ad copy written and tested in variants, not guessed
  • Negative keyword management to stop wasted spend
  • Landing pages built to convert the click you paid for
  • Bid and budget management against a cost-per-lead target
  • Monthly reporting on spend, leads and cost per lead

03 Conversation automation WhatsApp Business API

Every enquiry answered, including the ones at midnight

Most small businesses lose more revenue to slow replies than to bad marketing. Someone messages at nine in the evening, gets an answer at eleven the next morning, and by then they have booked elsewhere. Automation on the channel your customers already use closes that gap: enquiries answered in seconds, bookings confirmed, reminders sent before appointments, and quotes followed up rather than forgotten. Built properly, it hands over to a human the moment a conversation needs one.

Best for: Appointment-based and enquiry-led businesses: clinics, salons, workshops, trades, coaching, hospitality.

What is included
  • Automated enquiry handling on your existing number
  • Booking confirmations and appointment reminders
  • Follow-up sequences for quotes that went quiet
  • Segmented broadcast campaigns, not blanket blasts
  • Lead capture connected to your CRM or spreadsheet
  • Clean handover rules so people reach a human when needed
  • Opt-in and opt-out handling that meets UK data rules
  • Reporting on volume, response time and conversion

04 Social presence Instagram · LinkedIn · Facebook

Consistency, on purpose, measured

Social media fails for most businesses because it is done in bursts: three weeks of enthusiasm, then silence for two months. The fix is not more effort, it is a plan and a batch: a content calendar built a month ahead, produced in one session, scheduled, then reviewed on what actually performed. I focus on the one or two channels where your buyers genuinely are rather than maintaining a token presence on six.

Best for: Businesses whose customers research visually or socially before buying, and B2B founders building a personal profile.

What is included
  • Channel strategy: where your audience actually spends time
  • Monthly content calendars planned in advance
  • Content creation, scheduling and publishing
  • Short-form video cut for each platform's format
  • Community management and response handling
  • Paid social to amplify what already works organically
  • Profile and bio optimisation for search within platforms
  • Monthly review of reach, engagement and enquiries generated

05 Content production Photography · Videography

Original assets, shot for your brand

Stock photography is free and it looks it. Customers have seen the same smiling headset woman on forty websites, and it quietly signals that everything else on the page might be borrowed too. Original photography and video do the opposite: they prove the business is real, the premises exist and the people are who you say they are. I shoot in batches so one session produces a month of assets across your website, social channels and ads.

Best for: Any business whose website currently runs on stock images, and anyone needing video for social or ads.

What is included
  • Brand, premises and team photography
  • Product photography for e-commerce and catalogues
  • Promotional and explainer video production
  • Short-form vertical video for social platforms
  • Editing, colour and platform-ready delivery
  • Batched shooting: one session, a month of content
  • Images compressed and sized for web performance
  • Full usage rights, the assets are yours to keep

06 Website engineering WordPress · Custom themes

Fast sites, built for search from the first line

Most WordPress sites are slow because they are assembled from a page builder loading megabytes of code to render a paragraph. Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor, so the build matters. I write custom themes rather than dragging blocks around, which means a site that loads in under two seconds, has clean semantic markup search engines can read, and does not need four plugins to do what the theme should do itself.

Best for: Businesses whose current site is slow, hard to update, or was never built with search in mind.

What is included
  • Custom WordPress themes, hand-coded, no builder bloat
  • Mobile-first build, tested on real devices
  • SEO structure and schema built in from the start
  • Performance targets agreed and verified at handover
  • Migrations that preserve existing rankings and redirects
  • Accessibility basics: contrast, focus states, semantics
  • Training so your team can update content confidently
  • You own the site, the code and the hosting. No lock-in

07 Measurement & reporting GA4 · Search Console · Looker

The discipline that keeps the other seven honest

If you cannot say which channel produced your last ten enquiries, every other marketing decision is a guess wearing a suit. This is usually the first thing I fix and the cheapest thing to fix, and it changes the conversation permanently: instead of arguing about whether marketing is working, you look at a number. It is also the least glamorous service on this page, which is precisely why most agencies skip it.

Best for: Everyone. If you buy nothing else, buy this first.

What is included
  • GA4 configured properly, not just installed
  • Conversion and event tracking across every channel
  • Google Search Console setup and integration
  • Attribution: which channel actually earned the lead
  • Dashboards built to be read, not admired
  • Call and form tracking where relevant
  • Monthly written reports in plain language
  • Honest commentary on what is not working

08 Strategy & planning Consulting · Business planning

The thinking that happens before the spending

Marketing usually fails upstream, in the plan rather than the execution. The ads were fine, the positioning was wrong. The SEO worked, but it targeted people who were never going to buy. This is consulting rather than delivery: market and competitor research, positioning, deciding which channels deserve budget and which do not, and building a plan with milestones you can actually check against. Sometimes the outcome is that you should spend less, not more.

Best for: Founders launching something new, and established businesses whose marketing has plateaued.

What is included
  • Market and competitor research
  • Positioning and messaging development
  • Channel selection and budget allocation
  • Go-to-market and launch roadmaps
  • Marketing plans with measurable milestones
  • Business plan support for funding or internal approval
  • Quarterly strategy reviews against the numbers
  • An outside view from someone with no internal politics

The method

How every engagement runs

Diagnose, plan, build, measure. The same four stages whichever services you choose, and you see evidence at each one.

01

Diagnose

I look at what you have and write down where you actually stand. If tracking is broken, that gets fixed first, because every judgement after this depends on it.

02

Plan

A short written document: what I will do, in what order, what it should move, and what it costs. You approve it or change it before anything starts. No open-ended retainers for undefined optimisation.

03

Build

The actual work, delivered in visible increments so you see progress rather than waiting months for a reveal. You can ask what I did this week and get a specific answer.

04

Measure

A written monthly report: what was done, what moved, what happens next. If something is not working the report says so, and we change course rather than quietly continuing.

The limits

What I will not do

Written down before we start, so it is never a surprise later.

No ranking guarantees

Nobody can guarantee a Google position. Anyone who does is selling you something else. I guarantee the work, the reporting and honesty about results.

No black-hat tactics

No bought links, no spun content, no review manipulation. These trade long-term visibility for a short spike, and the penalty lands on you rather than on whoever sold it.

No vanity metrics

Impressions and reach do not pay invoices. Reports focus on qualified traffic, enquiries, cost per lead and conversions.

No dark patterns

My doctoral research is on exactly this. No manipulative funnels, fake urgency or consent tricks. They damage the trust your brand runs on.

No lock-in

You own your website, accounts, data and ad history. If we stop working together, everything stays with you, documented and handed over properly.

No pretending

If a channel is wrong for your business I will say so, even when it is one I sell. A client kept for years beats a retainer padded for months.

The questions

About working together

What does it cost?

It depends on scope, which is why every engagement starts with a short diagnostic conversation at no cost. After it you get a written plan with a fixed figure attached, so you know what you are buying before you commit. I do not publish package prices because a number that fits one business badly misleads the next one.

Do you work on retainer or per project?

Both, depending on the work. Website builds, audits and strategy are projects with a start and an end. Search visibility, paid acquisition and social are ongoing by nature, so they run monthly, with a written scope rather than a vague commitment to optimisation.

How quickly will I see results?

Paid acquisition can produce enquiries in days. Conversation automation starts working the moment it is live. Search visibility is slower: technical fixes can move things in weeks, but meaningful organic growth usually takes three to six months. I set expectations at the planning stage based on your starting point rather than promising the same timeline to everyone.

What makes you different from an agency?

You work with the person who does the work. No account manager relaying messages, no junior quietly assigned after the pitch. The trade-off is capacity: I take on a limited number of clients, which is also why the work stays good.

Can you work with my existing team or agency?

Yes, and it is common. Sometimes I handle the technical layer while an in-house team owns content, or run measurement across work another agency delivers. What matters is that responsibilities are written down so nothing falls between us.

What industries do you work with?

The system does not change much by industry: visibility, conversion, automation, measurement. Only the vocabulary does. I have worked with professional services, property, hospitality and local service businesses, and I will tell you honestly if your sector is one where I would be learning on your budget.

The next step

Find out which of these you need.

The first conversation answers that with evidence rather than a pitch.

Not sure which of these you need?

That is what the first conversation is for, answered with evidence rather than a pitch.
